Procedure to employ for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Carte du jour and for OCI Miscellaneous (Renewal) services
The applicant shall submit the application class online (https://ociservices.gov.in) and upload all the requisite documents, photograph and signature (in the instance of minors who cannot sign, left hand thumb impression) along with the application.

2. Self attested Registered Marriage Document (If married) or equivalent proof (Indian passport re-create on which spouse proper name is endorsed) to endorse proper name of spouse in OCI card. (Upload online)
3. Letter from employer/Pay Slip/Proof of own business/Student ID Card/Proof of last employment. (Upload online)
Address proof - Latest Personbevis in English (Extract of Population Annals) issued by Skatteverket for residents of Sweden and Utility Bill or whatsoever other proof in English for residents of Latvia (Upload online in similar or any available category)
IN Addition TO Above DOCUMENTS, Applicant HAVE TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS DEPENDING UPON THE CATEGORY Nether WHICH HE IS APPLYING FOR OCI
A. Applying on own Indian Origin:
i. Naturalization/Registration Document (Upload online)
ii. (a) If applicant e'er had Indian Passport:
Give up Document of Indian Passport. (Upload online)

(Naturalization Certificate can be uploaded with current passport making multiple folio pdf with depression resolution)

Note:
(i) Applicants who have obtained strange nationality afterward May 2010 , are mandatorily required to submit Give up Certificate/Renunciation of Indian Citizenship Certificate.
(ii) Applicants who accept held an Indian passport, and obtained strange nationality earlier May 2010 , simply are unable to produce the same for Surrender of Indian passport for any reason (lost/misplaced/submitted to Swedish/Latvian authorities long fourth dimension back) are required to furnish a notarised affidavit in original from Swedish/Latvian say-so stating the facts about their first travel to Sweden/Latvia, the whereabouts of their Indian passports and using Indian Passport subsequently attaining Swedish/Latvian Nationality (Upload online) along with other necessary documents equally mentioned in Point (b) below. – This notarized affirmation is required to exist submitted in original along with the awarding.

ii. Notary affidavit in original from Sweden/Latvia stating the fact and how he/she travelled to Sweden/Latvia or Go out permit issued by FRRO in India. (Upload online- any bachelor category) and other necessary documents equally mentioned below. (Upload online)
• Dwelling document /Nativity Certificate issued by Commune Magistrate or equivalent (in original)
OR
• Parents/Yard parents/Great Grand parents Indian passport with proper documents to testify relationship with them.
OR
• If born in Republic of india between 26 Jan, 1950 to 30 June, 1987:
Birth Certificate issued past Indian Government.
Note: Recently issued nativity Certificate (Postal service-dated birth certificates) should be duly certified past the Commune Magistrate/District Collector of the area, with name, postage, seal and contact telephone numbers with area code for verification.
OR
School Leaving Certificate (in original) (Matric and college Board level Classes).
Annotation: Post-dated Schoolhouse Certificate/School Leaving Certificate from India should be authenticated by Director of Educational activity/District Magistrate/District Collector of the area with name, postage stamp, seal and contact telephone numbers with surface area code for verification

3. Nascency Certificate clearly indicating names of parents/Familijebevis from Skatteverket indicating names of parents and infirmary discharge alphabetic character (Mandatory for applicants born outside India). 4. Evidence of self or parents or grandparents or great grandparents for- (Upload online)

II. Being eligible to get a citizen of India at the time of commencement of the Constitution i.due east. 26.01.1950; or
III. Belonging to a territory that became office of Republic of india after 15th Baronial, 1947.
These could be:
a. Copy of their Indian Passport; or
b. Copy of the Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority; or
c. Copy of Nativity Document from the competent authority; or
d. OCI Card/ PIO card (offset and last page) along with the base papers/ documents upon which the OCI/PIO card was issued; or
due east. Evidence of relationship as parent/grandparent/ great grandparent, if their Indian origin is claimed as footing for registration every bit OCI Cardholder:

C. Application for OCI nether Foreign Spouse Category - After at least two years of marriage. (Processing fourth dimension is ten-12 weeks bailiwick to clearance from MHA)

• For applications of Minor children: Cocky-attested current passport copies of both parents and spousal relationship certificate or equivalent proof (Upload online in similar or any bachelor category).
• For married applicants: Cocky attested Registered Matrimony Certificate or equivalent proof (Self-attested Indian passport copy on which spouse name is endorsed) along with Cocky-attested current passport copy of spouse to endorse name of spouse in OCI menu if non already endorsed in OCI card. • Strange Spouse Category OCI Cardholders: Consent alphabetic character from spouse if OCI was obtained on the basis of Indian Origin Spouse along with his/her self-attested current passport copy to verify signatures. (Upload online)
• For divorced applicants: Copy of Divorce guild issued by relevant court (Upload online).
• If there is change in employment status: Letter from employer/Pay Slip/Proof of own business/Student ID Card/Proof of last employment. (Upload online).
• If there is modify of Address: Copy of address proof like utility bill or any other document specifying total address (Upload online).
• Lost OCI Bill of fare: A copy of police study/crime reference number/Home Office letter is required forth with the application with a declaration from the applicant stating the circumstance in which the documents were lost. (Upload online)
• If the parents are divorced (Application for Minor): Court order of dissolution of marriage and Child arrangement order which specifically mentions that the total legal custody of the child is with the parent who is applying for the OCI card.
